What’s New

  1. New Page “Market Explorer”

  • In this release, we’re introducing “Market Explorer”. Designed to be a go-to for exploring top sales targets across the US or in specific geographies, Market Explorer allows our users to view top hospitals and physicians ordered by procedure or physician volumes. Using Market Explorer is easy and flexible - simply pick what level of items to view (pick Regions, Territories, Hospitals, or Physicians), and instantly get results in your side panel. As you move and zoom on the Market Explorer map, the result in the side panel will update to reflect the area you’re viewing. As you explore, you can get a summary of any item (recall: Region, Territory, Hospital, or Physician) by clicking its icon on the map or its card in the side panel. Want more detail on this item? Click further to the full profile of any item with the “view full profile” or “→” icon, both located in the side panel.

    1. Note: we set some defaults

      1. By default Market Explorer will display 50 hospitals or physicians at once, but this number can be edited between 1-100

      2. By default Market Explorer will sort all items by RepSignal Annual Procedure Volume Estimate for the Procedure Module selected, but this can be changed to sort by a variety of other variables. For Physicians users can sort by RepSignal Annual Procedure Volume Estimate for each Procedure Set in the selected Procedure Module. For Regions, Territories, and Hospitals users get those same options plus the ability to sort by Relevant Physician Volume.

        1. Note: relevant indicates the given data was filtered to show only data associated with the selected Procedure Module.

    2. Note the Explore Geography feature: To enable more flexible regional exploration, we included the “Explore Geography” tool, which allows users to select a regional geography visually with the drag and drop tool and quickly view a Geography Profile.

    3. User License Considerations: All users have access. Leader license users can view the entire US, while non-leader license users will be limited to their assigned Territory or Region.

  1. New Page “My News”

  • Also starting with this release, a new page “My News” will be available in RepSignal. My News combines key MedTech news sources into one integrated feed to keep commercial teams up to date. Sources include FDA 510(k)s, FDA PMAs, FDA Recalls, Clinical Trials, Publications, Tweets by relevant physicians, companies, and organizations, and Physician Information Changes.

  • In the left panel, users can filter My News items based on preferred type and recency, as well as Hide News items they would prefer not to see. Above the My News items users can search for any news by keyword (idea: search for competitor name or recent trial name).

  • User License Considerations: All users have access. Leader license users will by default get news items from across the entire US, while non-leader license users will be limited to news in their assigned Territory or Region

  1. Replace separate news items on the Dashboard page with My News carousel

  • Since we combined all relevant news items into the integrated “My News” page, we phased this information out of the separate feeds on the “Dashboard” page and replaced it with a sneak peek of what news items are on the “My News” page.

  • User License Considerations: This change effects all user licenses.

  1. Modifications to Navigation

  • We made a few cosmetic changes to the navigation to reflect more intuitive copy

    • Dashboard is now Home

    • My Physicians is now My Lists

    • Region Manager is now Manage Regions, located under the Management Tools tab.

  • User License Considerations: All changes are reflected in Leader licenses, while only Home and My Lists are reflected for non-Leader licenses.

Bug Fixes

  • On the Hospital Profile we changed a few small UI elements:

    • Edited the order of Accreditations and Societal Memberships

    • Changed the title of the "Annual Target Procedures by Physicians Affiliated with UNC REX Health Care" table

    • Removed bullet points in checkmark lists
